The NCLA High School Quiz Bowl team is currently holding on to second place in the Major League division of the 2025 NCASA Virtual Quiz Bowl League with a record of five rounds won and just one round lost. So far, they have faced off against Northwest Guilford High School, The North Carolina School of Science and Math-Durham, and the Surry Early College High School of Design.
