Our National Honor Society students had a great time serving together at Out of the Garden tonight! They assembled grocery bags of food for families in need and packaged two pallets of granola, all while giving back to our local community.

Lots of great things in the lost and found just waiting to be reclaimed!!
Next week is the last week in the quarter, so it will be the last week to claim your items.
All items left will be sold for $1 each starting after fall break.
All labeled items have been returned to students!

Thank you to the Speed family for providing a yummy lunch for the high school teachers today. We really appreciate it.

Elementary families get ready - it's pantry clean out time!!! National Honor Society is sponsoring a school wide food drive to benefit Open Door Ministries. Did you know - they feed over 1,000 people each month - right here in our community!!!
The elementary class who brings the MOST items will win BREAKFAST WITH THE CHEFS!!! Chef Don and his team will cook a delicious and healthy breakfast for the winning class!!!
Items will be collected the week of October 7-11!!!

In light of the devastating destruction in western NC, we are changing the dress down on Friday from the custodians to benefit Appalachian Service Project and Samaritan's Purse. If you have or want to donate diapers or formula we will also accept that in the front offices. Dress down minimum is $1 for Friday - tops and bottoms.

Hope to see lots of our families at Dairi-O in Kernersville tonight! Don't forget to say NCLA when you pay!!!

Families - out of an abundance of caution - we have decided to close school tomorrow. Teachers will reach out to parents in K-8 or students in HS with things they can work on if they choose to. We are sorry for the pressure this may put on our elementary families but feel that it is too unpredictable to have students driving in the conditions and our surrounding districts have also closed school. Thank you for your understanding.

Thanks to UCARE and Ana Bush, for donating sensory bottles and anxiety books!
