Mark your calendars for Tuesday, Oct 22 from 5-7:30pm. Prissy Polly's BBQ wants the NCLA's students and families to "be their guest" for a Fundraising Competition among local area schools. A portion of the night's sales will go to The NCLA and the total sales throughout the year can earn The NCLA's faculty a catered meal. Just mention you're with The NCLA. Who knows...there may be dinner entertainment that evening that is "never second best"!
We can't wait for our next play. Reserve your floor seats now or pay for bleacher seats at the door. Just don't miss the fun!
It is Conference Championship Match day for The NCLA Women's Varsity Tennis Team. The Northwest Piedmont 1A Championships will be held at Carver High School with matches beginning at 2:00pm. Get on the road to Winston-Salem and cheer on your Falcons!

Congratulations to our Middle School Students of the Month for September! Wynn Barton (6th Grade) - Reese Willard (7th Grade) - Payton Weigel (8th Grade)
The second graders wrote uplifting letters to the people affected by Helene. The letters are going to the letter drive of NC in Raleigh where they will be given out.
Senior Photos will be Monday morning.
Thank you to the Patel Family for bringing breakfast for elementary and middle school!!! It made our Monday morning a little bit more enjoyable!!!

We've got an exciting lineup for NCLA Athletics today! One ticket gets you in to both games here at NCLA. Here’s what’s happening:
⚽ Varsity Soccer is now HOME vs. Triad Math and Science at 5:00 PM! Come out and support our team!
🏐 Varsity Volleyball will also take the court at HOME against Triad Math and Science at 6:00 PM! Let's cheer them on!
⛳ The Varsity Women's Golf Match is taking place today at Grandover at 4:00 PM to make up for the rainout.
🏃♂️ MS Cross Country is headed to Clover Garden (Lake Cammack- Burlington, NC) for a 4:30 PM meet, rescheduled from earlier.

Our National Honor Society students had a great time serving together at Out of the Garden tonight! They assembled grocery bags of food for families in need and packaged two pallets of granola, all while giving back to our local community.
Lots of great things in the lost and found just waiting to be reclaimed!!
Next week is the last week in the quarter, so it will be the last week to claim your items.
All items left will be sold for $1 each starting after fall break.
All labeled items have been returned to students!

Elementary families get ready - it's pantry clean out time!!! National Honor Society is sponsoring a school wide food drive to benefit Open Door Ministries. Did you know - they feed over 1,000 people each month - right here in our community!!!
The elementary class who brings the MOST items will win BREAKFAST WITH THE CHEFS!!! Chef Don and his team will cook a delicious and healthy breakfast for the winning class!!!
Items will be collected the week of October 7-11!!!
