Third grade did an economics project where they created small businesses and had a market swap with another third grade class! The kids went shopping, then had the other class shop for their items! Tons of fun was had, and we learned some important lessons about business. Future entrepreneurs! They had some great ideas and had a fantastic learning experience!

Students were recently inducted into Los Halcones, the NCLA's Chapter of The Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica. The Spanish Honor Society is an academic honor society focused on Spanish language and excellence in secondary education which promotes a continuity of interest in Spanish studies. Its motto is "¡Todos a una!". The ceremony was led by its sponsor, Ms. Shannon Maggard and the 23-24 officers: Natalie Burns, President; Zoey Martin, Vice-President; Evelyn Bruning, Secretary.

They are waiting until after this upcoming frost and then they will plant Beans 🫘 Beets , Carrots 🥕 Cucumber 🥒 Kale 🥬 Ground Cherries 🍒 Okra, Peas 🫛 Peppers 🫑 Radish, Tomatoes 🍅 and a special treat of Strawberries 🍓 We love to watch our garden grow! Summer adoption sign up will be coming out around the end of April and we hope you will consider helping us keep this awesome space up during summer break!
