Congratulations to our Varsity Women's Basketball Team (15-7, 8-4) as they take on Bishop McGuiness High School in the NW Piedmont 1A Women's Basketball Conference Championship.
The contest will be played at NCLA on Friday, February 23, beginning at 6:00pm. All tickets are $7. Come out and cheer on your Falcons!

Today is National SRO Appreciation Day and we sure do have one of the best!!! Officer Stacy you are a balance of authority and love, seriousness and silliness. Our students, staff and families are so grateful for the safety you add to our campus!!!


Ms. Morehead treated our staff to some short relaxation sessions!!! IT WAS A HIT!!! Thank you Ms. Morehead!!!


As we talk about kindness, one of our 4th graders wrote this as encouragement for their peers. It's good encouragement for us all!

Students in Ms. Kerr's freshman English classes are reading excerpts from Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Maya Angelou, Rita Dove, Amanda Gorman, Langston Hughes, Martin Luther King Jr., and Alice Walker to celebrate Black History Month. Students will be choosing an author to further research for a cumulative project.



SAVE THE DATE for our Middle School Spring Dance! It will be on March 8th from 7-9pm in the Elementary Gym. Tickets will be $5 and will be sold during lunch that week!


In second grade our students have been working on making Valentine wreaths to give to a local elderly care facility called Salem House. We hope these wreaths hanging on each of the residences’ doors will make them smile. It’s one small way we thought we could share kindness in the community.
