The APES 🌎 students measured CO2 exhaust from various vehicles. The pH indicator gives a 🚦 system where green is low CO2 and red is high CO2. The top “green” car was the 2014 Ford Fusion and the top “red” car was the 2016 Chevy Colorado!

This past weekend our band students auditioned for the Northwest All District Music Festival. It is extremely competitive to make this ensemble. Our students placed incredibly well especially for it being their first time. Congratulations to Braeden Pacific and Jordan Knight for placing. A shout out to Jimmy Davis for being first alternate for 9th and 10th graders. They will spend a weekend at Lenoir Rhyne with intensive rehearsals followed by a concert.

Today starts February and we are celebrating KINDNESS this month!!!
Ms. Harris' class has set the challenge to get caught doing 100 kind things!!!

Our women's basketball teams were able to take in a game at HPU this past weekend. They even made the jumbo screen!

Rising Juniors and Seniors who plan to take dual enrollment courses through Forsyth Tech MUST attend this informational meeting on Thursday, February 1 during second lunch.

Our first graders became "surgeons" last week as they worked with numbers and words!!!

Tomorrow night is Cici's NCLA night! Let them know who your homeroom teacher is when you pay for a chance to win a pizza party for your class!!!

Get ready to spread some kindness!

Our school is excited and honored to host the upcoming High School Basketball playoffs. Along with this is a lot of extra responsibilities, one of which is hosting a "Hospitality Room" for the visiting coaches and referees. Let's all pull together and show them some awesome NCLA hospitality! (All items can be dropped off at the elementary or HS offices by Friday, February 16th.)
We appreciate your generosity and help!!! https://signup.com/go/RFogPVx
