Students were recently inducted into Los Halcones, the NCLA's Chapter of The Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica. The Spanish Honor Society is an academic honor society focused on Spanish language and excellence in secondary education which promotes a continuity of interest in Spanish studies. Its motto is "¡Todos a una!". The ceremony was led by its sponsor, Ms. Shannon Maggard and the 23-24 officers: Natalie Burns, President; Zoey Martin, Vice-President; Evelyn Bruning, Secretary.

The NCLA National Honor Society will be hosting a Blood Drive with the American Red Cross Bus on April 12 from 8:30am-1:30pm. The bus will be located at the back of the gym by the baseball field. Check-in will be at the back of the HS gym, and donors will enter from the back sidewalk by the baseball field. Please consider donating to help save lives!
