Mrs Roberts took her Zoology class this week on a field trip to the Greensboro Science Center where they had a behind the scenes experience in the aquarium.

The NCLA will be hosting an ECMC College Night on Thursday, October 26 from 6-7 in the HS Atrium. ECMC College Nights are free, interactive events designed to help high school students and their families understand the college-planning process. Events include a presentation and supporting materials to help students:
Understand how education can change their lives
Choose their education path
Learn how to pay for college
Identify what steps they can take now to prepare for education beyond high school
A drawing for a $1,000 Scholarship will be held. Any student grades 9-12 in attendance is eligible to win. If you have questions, please ask Mrs. Tucker.

Our 4th graders went to Vulcan Quarry and Kaleideum today. They had a lot of fun AND did some learning! They also were complimented for being a well-behaved group. WAY TO GO FALCON 4TH GRADERS!!!
Some of our classrooms have been utilizing a unique online math program called 99math to reinforce skills being taught in class. We were lucky enough to have some of the co-creators come and observe our classrooms today. They came all the way from Europe!!! Definitely a cool thing for the NCLA!!! www.99math.com
